A reported release does not establish the final court disposition, the end of parole, or the absence of another detainer. PA SAVIN's local value lies in its precise notification mechanics. When an automated phone call arrives, listen to the message and enter the four-digit PIN followed by the pound key. Read Lancaster County Release Notices
Save the time, event wording, and participating agency when a notice arrives. A Lancaster County Prison release notice establishes that the prison reported an end to that custody event. Alert language should be preserved as reported. Replacing “transfer” with “released,” or treating a county release as the end of a state case, can create a false account of what happened.
